The story opens with a scene where Mary Weatherworks, the previous owner of the mirror, is found in a moment of desperation during her sister's demise—a moment that disrupts the fabric of reality, leaving a lingering evil within the mirror. Many years later, the Weatherworks estate has become vacant, drawing new inhabitants into its twisted fate. Among them is Emily, who stumbles upon Mary's diary filled with dark lore about summoning demons and the malevolent mirror she once possessed.
