Part 2/8:

The story begins with Scrat, the ever-obsessive squirrel renowned for his quest to secure his precious acorn. In typical Scrat fashion, his antics lead him to a frozen flying saucer buried in the snow. As he attempts to hide his nut in the ship, his clumsiness causes the spacecraft to activate, launching him into outer space and creating the Milky Way in the process.

Scrat’s continued misfortunes see him inadvertently cause a gigantic meteor to break off and head towards Earth, which sets the stage for the impending doom facing the planet.
