Part 2/7:

The movie opens with a historical backstory—177,000 years before Christ, an alien ship landed on Earth, commencing a war against humanity. Fast-forwarding to the present, the Autobots have now been on Earth for two years, creating an alliance with humans to thwart Decepticon invasions. Much of the ongoing story revolves around Sam, who recently graduated from high school and is preparing for college in France while trying to navigate the perils introduced by his alien counterparts.
