As the plot progresses, Arthur reluctantly embraces his newfound identity as a superhero, despite lacking any of the powers that typical heroes possess. His partnership with The Tick increasingly pulls him into a world of crime-fighting, filled with its own dangers. From battling electrical-wielding antagonists to fending off the pyramid gang, the stakes begin to escalate.
However, Arthur’s personal struggles continue, particularly as he navigates the complicated relationship with his sister, Dorothy, who tries to pull him back to safety. Meanwhile, the duo of Arthur and The Tick is put to the ultimate test as they encounter Overkill, a government-trained criminal with a psychotic past, whose motivations intersect with their mission.
