However, their excitement quickly wanes when Velma informs the group that they must begin a summer job due to the damage done to Mr. Fricker’s barn, which has left them in need of cash. With the opportunity to work at Daphne’s uncle Thorny’s newly opened country club, the friends embark on a new adventure.
