Part 2/7:

Fast forward three weeks, Gru is now a fully reformed individual, celebrating his adopted daughter Agnes's birthday with his other daughters, Margo and Edith. To keep the festivities alive, Gru dresses up as Princess Charming when the actress fails to arrive, showcasing the lengths he will go to for his family. However, humorous mischief ensues when Gru’s minions get mixed up in the celebration.

The plot takes a turn when Lucy, an agent from the Anti-Villain League (AVL), arrives to recruit Gru for a mission. The unexpected confrontation between the two ends with Lucy using her surprising arsenal of gadgets to bring Gru along to investigate the missing PX-41 serum capable of transforming animals into violent mutants.
