Entering the Carnage Realm

"Venom: Let There Be Carnage" picks up shortly after the conclusion of the first film, with Eddie trying to navigate his life as a journalist while maintaining his connection with Venom. His path crosses with Cletus Cassidy, a sadistic criminal sitting on death row, who becomes obsessed with Eddie. During a visit, Cassidy bites Eddie’s hand and ingests a piece of Venom, leading to his transformation into Carnage after his execution.
