A monetary prize and a place in the Guinness Book of World Records, along with a recording of their gameplay broadcasted into space with the intent of showcasing human skill to extraterrestrial life.

Among these hopefuls is young Brenner, a standout gamer who relies on his instinctive understanding of character movements, allowing him to break multiple records. With a tie in scores on Pac-Man and Galaga, he and an arrogant player named Eddie proceed to the finals. Ultimately, Eddie triumphs over Brenner in a nail-biting Donkey Kong match, leaving Brenner disheartened.
