Part 6/9:

As the battles continue, Stubby faces injury but does not waver. He embodies loyalty and bravery, which move his fellow soldiers, particularly Robert, who becomes increasingly dedicated to protecting Stubby. The harsh realities of war take a toll on everyone, however, and Robert succumbs to illness during the infamous 1918 flu epidemic, missing the companionship of his beloved dog.

Yet, Stubby demonstrates his relentless perseverance by tracking down Robert when he's in the hospital. Their reunion reaffirms their bond and gives Robert the motivation to recover.
