The TGL introduces a novel format where classic golfing skills meet technological innovation. Players will tee off on real grass before transitioning to an impressive large screen, a feature known as "screen play." Depending on the outcome of their initial shots, players will continue into virtual play, navigating their way through simulated scenarios such as the fairway, rough, or sand bunkers.
As they approach the "green zone" displayed on the screen, the action shifts back to the tangible world, with the ball physically placed on a tech-enhanced green where play continues until a player sinks the putt. This seamless blend of real and simulated golf aims to engage both players and spectators through a fresh approach to the game.
