Toan's connection with teammate Cole Palmer is noteworthy as well. Their paths had crossed previously in Manchester’s youth academy; however, it wasn’t until they reunited at Chelsea that their relationship truly blossomed. Toan fondly remembered Palmer as a cheeky, small boy during their academy days, full of personality and mischief, characteristics that have stuck with him as he flourished into an essential player at Chelsea.
