Xiaoxi seeks a more permanent solution and is tempted to take another potion from the mysterious man. However, each use comes at a cost, which soon becomes evident when Han starts to lose his memories of her—specifically those of the overweight version of Xiaoxi that he loved.
After facing rejection from Huangke, who merely sees her as a means to an end, Xiaoxi realizes that her true feelings for Han have never faded. This epiphany propels her to find the old man once more, wishing to reclaim her original self in search of authentic love.
