The story opens with the historical animosity between the Snake Fist Clan and the Eagle Claw Clan, a feud that has spanned over a hundred years. The Eagle Claw Clan, known for its lethal techniques, has dedicated itself to eradicating the Snake Fist style altogether. In a gripping prologue, a key confrontation occurs between Sheng Kuan, a master of the Eagle Claw, and a surviving member of the Snake Fist Clan. The battle ends in the latter's demise, escalating Sheng Kuan's pursuit of the clan's last hope, a master named Pai.
