Enter Pawan Kumar, a kind-hearted, devout Hindu Brahman who encounters Shaha, whom he affectionately names “Money.” Despite being a stranger in a foreign land, Pawan treats her with kindness, attempting to help her find her parents. He takes her to a police station, but without any way for her to communicate her identity, he eventually takes her home. Here, Pawan and his fiancée Rasa welcome her into their lives, despite the disapproval of Pawan's strict father Pandy, who is wary of her different religion.
