Awakening in the Unknown

The story begins with Royce, an armed officer, awakening mid-freefall after being ejected from a spaceship. He manages to deploy his parachute and lands in an unnerving forest. As he begins to explore this strange new environment, he encounters Cucio, a Mexican drug cartel enforcer, who points a gun at him. Confused and wary, both men are interrupted when a third human falls to his death, heightening the tension.
