After his immersive gaming experience, Loomis’ initial excitement turns into distress as he realizes he couldn't conquer the challenges of the game. He decides to invite his childhood friend Hutch over for a gaming session, but Hutch is unable to join. With the haunting ambiance surrounding him, Loomis hears unsettling noises from upstairs, only to discover the horrifying fate of his friends Rex and Sarah, who lie brutally slain.
