Abraham Kenyatta, a safari guide at Kitsuko Safari Camp, is introduced as he prepares for a day of guiding tourists through the rich wildlife of Botswana. A somber tone is established as he interacts with his nephew Jackson, who is engrossed in alarming news from scientist Robert Oz. Oz's unsettling findings indicate an imminent uprising among animals, who will cease obeying humans and take to hunting them instead.

During a morning safari, Abraham and Jackson encounter a trophy hunter poised to harm a rhino. In a moment of quick thinking, Jackson uses loud music to scare off the animal, foiling the hunter’s plan. However, the situation spirals dramatically as the narrative shifts to Los Angeles, where lions escape their zoo confines and begin attacking unsuspecting citizens.
