Part 2/10:

In the opening scene, we meet Maura, a woman trying to escape from a mental asylum, haunted by vivid dreams and dark recollections associated with her father. She hints at a connection to the Prometheus, hinting at sinister events and loss. Upon awakening, however, Maura dismisses her dream as mere fantasy, only to discover the physical remnants of her time in the asylum, marked by bruises and trauma.

Currently aboard another vessel making the same seven-day journey from England to America, Maura's situation represents a microcosm of societal stratification. The ship operates distinctly across class lines, with first-class passengers enjoying opulence while those in the lower compartments—refugees, criminals, and wanderers—are subjected to meager rations and cramped conditions.
