The narrative then shifts underwater, providing a glimpse of the Korean submarine, Hala, as it navigates the depths of the ocean east of Hiroshima. Under the leadership of Kang, the naval crew faces a targeted attack from enemy submarines. Despite Kang's efforts to maintain calm, Hala ultimately succumbs to the assault, leading to a horrific disaster that claims the lives of many crew members.
