One of the central figures in the narrative is Patrick, a patient who has been in a coma for years. Unlike the others, he appears to be in good health, which piques Kathy's interest and concern. However, Patrick’s awakening is not as straightforward as it seems—he possesses telekinetic abilities and starts to interact with Kathy in unnerving ways. The dark tale intertwines medical ethics with horror as Dr. Rogette conducts painful experiments on Patrick while Kathy tries to establish a connection that could indicate Patrick’s consciousness.
