The mysterious ruling body, dubbed the Unknown Fathers, employs a post-apocalyptic military dictatorship that maintains control over the populace through radiation emitted from large towers. This radiation induces a fervor of hyper-nationalism among citizens, effectively brainwashing them into blind loyalty while condemning those who exhibit adverse reactions as "degenerates."
Max's experience intensifies as he witnesses the cruel realities faced by the inhabitants of Fatherland, further underscored by the gruesome treatment meted out to supposed rebels who merely seek to live freely.
