In a crucial turn of events, Dr. Hugh Derry decides to stimulate Calvin with low voltage electricity to wake it from what they presume to be hibernation. This act leads to disaster: Calvin aggressively attacks Hugh, crushing his hand and demonstrating unimaginable strength for its size.
