Despite her self-reliance, JoJo has yet to download the Love Alarm app due to her outdated phone and her reluctance to share her tragic past regarding her mother’s death with friends. JoJo’s world collides with that of San, a handsome and successful boy returning from a championship in America. As their paths intertwine, the story delves deeper into themes of admiration, unrequited love, and complex relationships.

As we shift to San's perspective, we learn about the impact he has on those around him, particularly his close friend Young, who surprisingly develops feelings for JoJo. Young, however, believes that JoJo is unattainable due to her association with another boy named Son. This creates a love triangle that intensifies as the narrative progresses.
