The Starship comprises two main components: the Super Heavy booster and the Starship itself, which together weigh roughly 5,000 tons. This weight necessitates a robust propulsion system, leading to the inclusion of 33 Raptor engines in the Super Heavy and six additional engines in the Starship for vacuum and atmospheric operations.
