The emergence of a new virus called ID7, or "Red-Eye," has drastically altered human behavior across the globe. The virus, which has been reported since it first appeared in Iowa eighteen months ago, raises stress hormone levels in those infected, blocking neural pathways and lowering inhibitions. This leads to impulsive behavior, causing people to engage in destructive and often violent actions, a phenomenon now categorized as individuals becoming "redders." With over a thousand outbreaks reported worldwide, health organizations assert that implementing quarantines will eradicate the virus by the year's end. However, while ID7 does not prove deadly in terms of mortality, it turns infected individuals into lethal threats.
