When Toe Jam dies in an attempt to discern Furiosa's home location, Dementus decides to keep her under his influence, hoping to manipulate her into trust. Meanwhile, Furiosa's mother attempts a daring rescue but ultimately pays the ultimate price. Mary is captured and gruesomely executed by Dementus's men while Furiosa is forced to watch, a turning point that deepens her thirst for revenge.
