While exploring Melanie's past, Wanderer reveals disturbing memories, including the traumatic loss of family members and harrowing encounters with other survivors like Jared.
Throughout these recollections, Wanderer starts to feel the strong emotions tied to love and loss that belong to Melanie, particularly concerning her relationship with Jared, which both intrigues and confuses her.
