Upon reaching a significant point in the trail, the hikers meet a park ranger, who offers insight into the best campsites with views of the rising sun. The thrill of closeness to the summit is palpable, even though they still must carry on to the highest point.
Arrival at the Campsite
The campsite is situated not at the peak but a bit below it. After a moment of rest, the initiative to set up camp increases, as the narrator efficiently finds an ideal spot for the tent. To fend off the expected cold night, they deploy an emergency Mylar blanket atop the tent, hoping to trap heat inside. As night falls, the excitement of witnessing the sunset sparks giddy anticipation.
