In survival situations, establishing a fire is paramount for warmth and cooking. Despite the wet and snowy conditions making fire-starting challenging, participants scrambled to gather tinder and kindling. Observing the frantic attempts, it quickly became evident that experience and technique could mean the difference between warmth and the onset of frostbite.
Among the group, one participant managed to start their fire despite stiff competition. However, both failing contestants were forced to relinquish valuable items from their bags, while the victor reveled in their achievement, warming both their body and spirit.
