I like African music, it's nice and all with the nice beats. It's something you can ease off with but then I don't like the loud ones they make my head ache 😶 but asides that African music is bae.

I like the fact that African music is universal. Irrespective of the language, we still find an aspect of beauty to key into. I danced Gate Le coin by Awilo Logomba as a six year old back in the days. Never understood anything of the lyrics

This is funny but true 😅

I remember when I saw the lyrics of one of these songs we sang back in the days. I just knew I've been singing rubbish all my whole life, & more than that I was shocked when I saw it's meaning

Gate Le coin was my best African song, the song hits differently

And yes, the universality of the African music is a force that cannot be contended with. The unique rhythm and vibes make it appealing and enchanting.

I love African music for its overloaded vibes. Moat times the lyrics teach a lot of lessons. Also the African beat is very unique and very capable if making a sorrowful man alive and happy. Africa for life!!!

True!
African music has vibes overload!!!
And, as you rightly pointed out, the lyrics are impactful and filled with message and wisdom... except many of these recent ones

The beat na confamento... lol

#afritunes #music

Yes o. For the ones without good lyrics, they have good beats to give the vibes

#afritunes #music

HAhaha
yes yes
For instance someone like Naira Marley... that guy sings nonsense in his lyrics 😅😅😅

But his beat is really dope and vibefilled

#afritunes #music #naija

I don't hate African music, I love the fact that it's so full of life, vibrate with their very beautiful beats and rhythm but then I love my peace and quiet so I often don't listen to them. Regardless they are really nice.

As for what I disliked. I disliked the fact that a lot of African music seem to now tilt towards westernization, making it lose that originality and image.

Sadly, westernization is wiping away our culture; #music is an integral part of culture. It has gotten hold of our language, ethos, clothing, & our respect is dying. Only #food is left. I hope we can survive this mental slavery

why do you love African music?

African music has lots of meaningful rhythms. It speaks of a people who had been on existence right from time.

African music is wholistic and of course, it is life in itself.

African music is a lifestyle.

#afritunes #music

Yes bro
African #music is indeed #life
The lyrics and rhythm are brilliantly composed.

#afritunes

For sure, Africa owns it all no doubt @ksam

So, this being the reason behind others can bing more to afri-musics.

Recently I saw a video of USA army playing in their band a naija song. That's interesting and already telling on all that afri-misic is taking an utmost space globally.
