Job cuts and market activity are not usually related. In fact, often job cuts are taking place when the markets are running.
Oh it good to know more, I thought when companies are going through difficult environment that's when they layoffs their staff.
They do. But the economy and markets are two different things. Investors love layoffs because it makes the financials better quickly.
For the investors it might be a good idea, but at the other side it's not for the staff.
CEOs answer to the shareholders.

I think the bear market is over but the bull market hasn't started yet.
There may be sharp drops, but I don't think we will see the dip prices in the bear market again.
