Ultimately, we could see more people fed for much less money. This also could impact some of the major agriculture companies that enjoy near monopolistic conditions due to buying up smaller farms over the years.

For developing countries to even arrive at this level, they have to create new environmental laws, customize plans to suit geographical conditions, and install facilities that tap into renewable energy resources. Denmark has the conditions the enable them to implement these technologies because they already have existing facilities that tap into wind power.

I could see only developed nations with favorable geographical locations to be the forerunner on this tech alone while the rest of the world would still be arguing about how the laws on renewable tech are debated and how to fund the projects.
