Countries such as Ukraine are an example of using crypto more as a currency than a speculative asset. I remember reading at some point that the president was saying they're open for Bitcoin miners due to their excess in electricity that can be used in that regard. Ukraine is pretty much like Russia and I wouldn't move there. I'd rather choose El Salvador, seems a more civilized country than Ukraine is.

Ukraine use to be a part of the Soviet Union and many Ukrainians are actually Russian. A difficult situation there.

Fair point, I'm fairly sure the government is basically The Mafia too.
