Celebrating 5 years on HIVE!

It all started the 30th of March, 5 years ago

I needed also a decentralized spot to speak about my city. Hive seemed to be a great haven to host our own lovely port and city spots.

So I joined.

In parallel, there were a million other things taking place.
And a number of other social media platforms as well.

But the one where the most engagement exists is Instagram.@aboutheraklion is in many many platforms.

I think this is because people in my city really need a place to show their magic photos of their magic spots. I think that it is a way for them all to communicate their love to the city.

I have thought many times about how to encourage some of them to come to Hive. I have not (YET) figured out a way, but maybe its time that this thought comes to my mind again.

Closing this post, I thank everyone of you who supported this initiative here and I will share some stats below

According to hivestats.io, I have received 206 HP.
It is low, but then again, I am not posting every day..
