As with all hidden gems, Hive Thrifted Community Store that opened recently, still has to be discovered by the Hive Community.
If you've not heard about HIVE THRIFTED, this is your opportunity to declutter, sell your dusty treasures after giving them a spruce-up of course, and earn HIVE or HBD; a win-win I would say!
So, if you like the idea of extra income the easy way, hop over to our INTRO POST, start clearing out those dusty pre-loved items, list it here in Hive Thrifted as I've done, and importantly, reblog that post so we can start filling up our Hive Thrifted 'store', especially share the news with your fellow citizens to make shipping affordable for your buyers.
No need for Fiat when buying goods in Hive Thrifted!
You could find some real gems here that you can buy using your Hive wallet.
SO...
I ask that you please spread the word near and far; it naturally is more affordable sending parcels to fellow citizens.
Hive Thrifted First Seller
However, nothing is impossible here in Hive Thrifted, especially after seeing how fast @silversaver888 sold her PEARL STUD EARRINGS to @shanibeer all the way across the waters!
Hive Thrifted Review
@shanibeer in turn wrote a RAVE REVIEW of her experience and the ease of buying using her Hive wallet by simply transferring Hive to the seller.

I'm running a flash sale that will end in a week's time, way longer than usual Flash Sales, but hey, it's Hive Thrifted, and the ball is in our court not so!
So, from today till this post pays out, I'm offering a 50% discount on my Homeware Bargains - Trendy Africa.
Once the sale is over, the prices will revert to regular and I will keep them here in Hive Thrifted.
As with HODL'ing, patience is the name of the game, so it will wait for a Hive buyer instead of collecting dust at the back of my cupboards😉
To find out more about the products, read the details HERE.

Attic, tool shed, kitchen or sideboard there must be something no longer in use !LOLZ
So right @joanstewart, I found a number of stuff that I forgot I owned🙈
I'd rather they sit here in Hive Thrifted & eventually get sold for Hive, than it lying hidden away where no one has any use for it.
I love those wooden spoons and forks! Thanks for the article, Lizelle. I had no idea about this Hive opportunity to declutter. I'll see what I have around for that.
I do hope to see your goods here @volatilegains :) It's still a very new concept, so it will take a while to catch on, and you will be one of the early adopters here at Hive Thrifted.
Better than letting those dusty unused items sit forgotten in the back of one's cupboard or attic when you can make a couple of Hive/HBD here, not so!
I wish I could give-away most of them. I have gathered a lot of items I do not need anymore. I'll see about it after this summer. I hope that place/community will still be there as the whole concept is great. Hugs!
This is so awesome I am glad to have found this community out I love the concept ❤️
Nice having you here @bitcoinman, I hope we see your preloved goods here in Hive Thrifted 🤗
I love the concept, I think it would be great to get some devs on board to set up a nice market place for Hive Thrifted that would including a reputation score
That would be the cherry on the cake! There is a Hivelist Classifieds Community who run the Hivelist store, a crypto based multivendor retail store, NFT store, not quite suitable for 2nd hand goods.
We have an awesome site here in SA, yaga.co.za, one can set up your own 'pre-loved store' at no cost, they handle payments, deduct a 9% commission on sales. They only provide the buyer's cel number & email address once they receive payment. Locker-to-locker parcel delivery is encouraged, personal contact is discouraged for safety reasons. They only release the funds once tbe buyer receives their goods. One can track the parcel's movement & see if it's been collected if the buyer doesn't mark it as received.
It's been a great experience but of course the currency is fiat!
My son is an IT engineer & software development is his game, but has a demanding job otherwise I would have asked him to set up something for Hive Thrifted. It would be a good income for a developer if it takes off here, AND would attract more people to Hive. Yaga is a real success story, very popular with the young and hip. 👌
I really appreciate all that , I'm going to have at look at yaga and hivelist, I'm just getting some life stuff sorted but very soon I will start hive trifting 🤣
This is actually cute.. But I guess the shipping is more expensive😅.. Going to Hong Kong.
Hi @jane1289, sooo sorry, but this tells me we need to get more Hivers from Hong Kong on board to make Hive Thrifted deals viable.
Maybe you would like to be our Hong Kong 'rep'?
Of course, my pleasure... I've been convincing some friends here to join Hive, it's just that, they aren't into writing..
Thank you @jane1289, maybe you can connect with other Hivers from Hong Kong? The role would merely entail writing an awareness bilingual blog, similar to one @coquicoin published. You naturally would have to read my intro post to get a full understanding. The concept is very simple - Hivers wanting to sell 2nd hand goods need to join the community & write a post advertising their goods, cost in HBD. The finer details are in my intro post.
Look forward to hearing from you 🤗
And that's my prob, as I don't know any Hiver living in Hong Kong.. There is a Chinese Community here..but they are from mainland China, not Hong Kong
I do need to go through some things and see what I have. There have got to be things here somewhere!
I'm sure you'll find some hidden gems that you've forgotten about, Denise.
Vintage stuff is becoming trendy here with the younger set, things like wicker baskets, crockery from pre-1970, small kitchen aplliances, clothing etc. etc. (on yaga.co.za)
I should find something, although, every time I have moved (which is soo many times) I go through my household goods as they have a given amount they will pay for to ship over the pond and back. Plus, you need to find a new place to put things.
Don't get me wrong, I still have things, but, less than I could. :) I'll work on it! ❤️
