I finally got to see Raising Dion on Netflix last week. At first, it didn't appeal to me but I noticed someone who shares my profile started watching it so I just decided to stress them a little by watching it from the beginning and wrecking their resumption point.
Well, I loved it.

For one thing, it's PG 13. So, there's absolutely no amount of horror that they brought that I couldn't handle. That's what I thought until the final episode where they brought out these creatures that gave me a sleepless night. I have a very strong memory so I tend to remember images a lot more than most people.
Anyways, Raising Dion is about a kid who lost his dad and 2 years later found out that he had superpowers. His mom had to go through a lot by trying to keep him safe and also keep the world around him safe coz as a kid, he had very little understanding of his capabilities.
I enjoyed the storyline, even though I got a little annoyed m=by certain things like the dumb secrets they keep in the name of "protecting" their kids and all that. It was understandable though, parents do that a lot.
I'm not giving any more spoilers so it's up to you to decide if watching a 7-year-old act like a genius is worth your time.
Thanks for reading

It was an interesting watch. I like how they released it all at once so you binge it in a day. S1 was better scripted than S2 but hey, Dion is cool now
I found the second series to be a lot more interesting though. I liked the presence of more superheroes. They should have done that from the very beginning and not made them look so weak.
