This is a very entertaining movie, I remember watching it years ago, one day at night while changing channels. The first minutes of the film are great, when Kurt's wife disappears, and he desperately starts looking for her but no one has seen her, a good moment of suspense is generated, what the hell happened? The story has three great acts; first, the mystery, where is the wife? then tension as Kurt is extorted by kidnappers to get the money, finally action and car chase. It's one of those movies that you don't expect much of and then have a good time watching. I've seen it two or three times since the first time.
