When it comes to the themes of Japanese shows, there are always unique and sometimes anti-mainstream ideas. Last night, I also just watched a film that was released in 2022. With a rate of around 8.6/10, the film entitled Even If This Love Disappears From The World Tonight is indeed amazing.
- ORIENTATION
The story opens with a beautiful girl named Hino Maori (Fukumoto Riko) recovering from an accident and experiencing anterograde amnesia. An accident that causes the brain to be unable to store memories. The memory Maori has only lasts for a day, after she falls asleep, then, all memories of that day will disappear.
Therefore, Maori continued to write daily activities, which she would then read after waking up. Her parents and Maori hid her stu from her schoolmates, so that no one would try to harm her. There is only one friend of Maori's who is also trusted by her family, named Wataya Izumi (Furukawa Kotone).
.
While at school, Izumi, who truly loves his best friend, is very protective so that no one harms Maori.
However, later on, a quiet and handsome male student confesses his love to Maori and asks her out. The boy is named Kamiya Tooru (Michieda Shunsuke). Surprisingly without a second thought, Maori accepted Kamiya's declaration of love. It was later discovered that Kamiya's declaration was fake. Kamiya admitted it himself. He was forced to confess his love to Maori to avoid being bullied by a group of bullies.
Maori was still willing to continue the fake courtship. Even though it was fake, at least they could still be good friends. From then on, Maori had a new life. A life that was not only about him and Izumi, but added with the presence of Kamiya.
Izumi accepted Kamiya's presence as her best friend's boyfriend, the three of them became close. Gradually, Kamiya learnt about Maori's health condition and it didn't make him back down from his initial intention to take care of Maori. However, who would have thought that it was Kamiya who had a history of genetic heart disease from his mother. A new problem then arose
- CHARACTERISTICS
Hino Maori (Fukumoto Riko)
Maori has a beautiful and sweet character. Of course, Maori is instantly a popular girl. In addition to her cheerful and gentle nature, Maori is also always optimistic about her life which is not easy. In addition, Maori also has a sincere soul. Maori before and after the accident has no different character, it's just a matter of being vigilant and careful. Fukumoto is definitely worthy of portraying Maori.
Kamiya Tooru (Michieda Shunsuke)
Described as quiet and bullied, Tooru grows up to be a teenager who lacks confidence, but dares to make sacrifices for his friends from bullies. Isn't Tooru's character cute? He doesn't care about helping himself, but cares more about helping his friend and is willing to make sacrifices.
When he learnt about Maori's condition, he didn't back down, because he realised that he had a more dangerous condition than Maori, so he was understanding of Maori's condition. After all, Tooru's feelings for the mAori slowly became sincere.
Wataya Izumi (Furukawa Kotone).
Portrayed as a cheerful, optimistic girl who loves her friends, Izumi is well played by Furukawa Kotone. In addition, Izumi is also described as a lover of pure literature and also doubles as a design lover like her parents.
Because of Izumi's affection for Maori, she tries her best to prevent Maori from being harmed. Izumi even agreed to her best friend's relationship with Tooru with the threat that Maori must not get hurt.
- INTERPRETATION
Japan always presents an unexpected story. Although the ending may be predictable towards the end, at least, there is always a twist for a touching romantic story like Even This Love Dissapears From The World Tonight.
- SUMMARY
If you're a lover of the romance genre that can leave an impression on your heart, this is the film to watch after finishing your work. Maybe you will cry a little at the end seeing the sincerity between Toooru, Maori, and Izumi. However, you will also feel warm after watching it.
Well, as for me, I would just look for a way to bring back my memories and if there is no way to restore that, I would probably leave it and flow the way it is.
In the end the best thing we can do is accept what happens to us and live a better life afterwards. totally agree with you, @the-lead
Yeah, I feel that's the best we can do, to safe our life's from troubles.
