Although, I really don't like war movies, but this movie is an exception. The movie portrays the evil of war and the dangerous effects it has on people. The movie stirred up a lot of emotions in me as I watched Agu, a playful young boy become a cold blooded killer due to the traumatizing experiences he faced. The movie is actually nice. Yes Beast of No Nation is really an exception to other war films. The thought of kids fighting in a war they obviously did not start is sad and annoying. Agu's life was already hard but he had no idea what he was about to face. You'd wonder what it would take for a child to stop doing child things and begin to murder. A sick but interesting story for sure.
