Hello dear Hivers! This time I decided to venture into this fun community and tell you guys what my favorite comedy is.
I really am a movie buff and I like movies as much as ice cream or chocolate. Choosing only one is impossible for me so in this post I will make a small reference of my style.
To start, I want to talk about Nancy Mayers. Nancy is one of my favorite film directors because most (if not all) of her films talk about real, mature issues from a light and fun perspective, it's like having a quantum physics class in a spa getting the full treatment.
The stories it addresses usually speak of mature and / or professional women, independent, strong, but at the same time very sensitive and protective. It gives its characters an opportunity to re-experience an adventure (or do it for the first time) within their routine, which takes them out of their comfort zone and makes them live an exciting situation that changes them for the better.
These are experiences that show that even if you are a certain age, it is never too late to find love or be happy again. It is not for less that her characters look a lot like herself, since her skill also includes the script and the production.
You've probably seen many of her films: The Intern / Pasante de Moda (2015), It's Complicated / Enamorándome de mi Ex (2010), The Holiday / El Descanso (2006), What Women Want / Lo que Ellas Quieren (2000) and others.
This time I will talk about one of my favorite comedy films with Romance, it is Something's Gotta Give / Someone has to Give (2003). I never get tired of seeing it!
This exquisite production is about a single businessman in his 40s who dates only young girls, the hunting peacock himself.
He decides to go out for the weekend with one of them, to her mother's country house (who is a writer) and is accidentally surprised by she in the kitchen. After several humorous situations, the man has a mild heart attack that forces him to stay in that place.
Coexistence makes the characters open up and fall in love without wanting to. The emergency doctor (who is a handsome young man) takes an interest in Erika (the writer) and the plot becomes interesting because she enters an internal dilemma.
The businessman breaks her heart like a cookie in a feminine wallet and that gives her the impetus to finish her latest book.
The entrepreneur does an investigation into his past, after thinking that he was having another problem and discovered that he was the one who was closed to the possibility of finding love, which he later tries to make amends with Erika. They jump together and end up happy.
It is an apprenticeship for both the character and the viewer, who after seeing this production, makes an introspection of how things are going in his life and what he can improve.
Another important detail is that in all her works, Nancy has an impeccable cast. Diane Keaton, Jack Nicholson, Keanu Reevs, among other artists, act in this film, who imprint part of their own being to give life to that story that makes you think that you are seeing the life of a close relative.
For that and many other things, I recommend dusting off this audiovisual that you are going to enjoy as much as the popcorn that you are going to eat.

Hola estimados Hivers! Esta vez decidí aventurarme a participar en esta divertida comunidad y decirles cuál es mi comedia favorita.
Realmente soy una cinéfila y me gustan las películas tanto como el helado o el chocolate. Escoger solo una es imposible para mí así que en este post haré una pequeña referencia de mi estilo.
Para empezar, quiero hablar sobre Nancy Mayers. Nancy es una de mis directoras de cine favoritas porque la mayoría (por no decir que todas) sus películas hablan de temas reales y maduros desde una perspectiva ligera y divertida, es como si tuvieras una clase de física cuántica en un spa recibiendo el tratamiento completo.
Las historias que aborda por lo general hablan de mujeres maduras y/o profesionales, independientes, fuertes, pero al mismo tiempo muy sensibles y protectoras. Les da a sus personajes una oportunidad para volver a experimentar alguna aventura (o hacerlo por primera vez) dentro de su rutina, que las saca de su zona de confort y las hacen vivir una situación emocionante que las cambia para mejor.
Son experiencias que demuestran que aunque tengas cierta edad, nunca es tarde para encontrar el amor o volver a ser felíz. No es para menos que sus personajes se parezcan mucho a ella misma, pues su destreza también incluye el guión y la producción.

Esta vez hablaré de una de mis películas favoritas de comedia con Romance, se trata de Something's Gotta Give / Alguien tiene que Ceder (2003). Nunca me canso de verla!
Esta exquisita producción trata de un empresario soltero con más de 40 años que tiene citas solamente con chicas jóvenes, el propio pavosaurio en cacería.
Decide salir de fin de semana con una de ellas, a la casa de campo de su madre que es escritora y sin querer es sorprendido por la madre en la cocina. Después de varias situaciones jocosas, el hombre tiene un infarto leve que lo obliga a quedarse en ese lugar.
La convivencia hace que se vayan abriendo los personajes y se vayan enamorando sin querer. El doctor de emergencia (que es un joven apuesto) se interesa por Erika (la escritora) y la trama se pone interesante porque ella entra en un dilema interno.
El empresario le rompe el corazón como galleta en cartera femenina y eso le da el impulso para terminar su último libro.
El epresario hace una investigación en su pasado, después de pensar que le daba otro patatús y descubrio que era él quien se cerraba a la posibilidad de encontrar el amor, cosa que después intenta enmendar con Erika. Dan el salto juntos y terminan felices.
Es un aprendizaje tanto para el personaje como para el espectador, que luego de ver esta producción, hace una introspección de cómo van las cosas en su vida y qué puede mejorar.
Otro detalle importante es que en todas sus obras, Nancy tiene un cast impecable. En esta película actúan Diane Keaton, Jack Nicholson, Keanu Reevs, entre otros artistas, que le imprimen parte de su propio ser para dar vida a esa historia que te hace pensar que estás viendo la vida de un familiar cercano.
Por eso y muchas cosas más, recomiendo desempolvar este audiovisual que vas a disfrutar tanto como las cotufas que te vas a comer.
