Hola de nuevo! Hoy les traigo un post súper adorable en el cual les hablaré sobre películas que tienen que ver con mascotas. Hay muchísimas películas donde retratan el amor que sienten los humanos por los animales y viceversa, y estos filmes hacen que nos sintamos identificados y al amar a nuestra mascota o tener recuerdos de las que tuvimos en el pasado. Las mascotas, sean perro, gatos, hamsters, peces o cualquier animal son un apoyo incondicional en nuestras vidas y aunque hagan popó en todas partes, jamás harán popó en nuestros corazones. Espero poderles traer una segunda entrega de esta serie de películas ya que hay muchísimas otras que muestran las aventuras de las mascotas en la vida de sus dueños. Comencemos!
Hello again! Today I come with a super adorable post in which I will talk about movies that have to do with pets. There are many movies where they portray the love that humans feel for animals and vice versa, and these films make us feel identified and love our pet or have memories of the ones we had in the past. Pets, whether they are dogs, cats, hamsters, fish or any animal are an unconditional support in our lives and although they poop everywhere, they will never poop in our hearts. I hope to bring you a second installment of this series of movies as there are many, many others that show the adventures of pets in the lives of their owners. Let's go!
Bolt
Esta película me encantó y la vi en el cine cuando era más pequeña. La premisa trata sobre un perro que es una estrella de la televisión el cual trabaja con su dueña Penny, la cual quiere mucho. La serie en la que trabaja se llama Bolt y se trata sobre el perro el cual tiene superpoderes y debe salvar a Penny del villano principal. La cuestión es que Bolt cree que todo lo que pasa en la serie es verdad, el piensa que tiene superpoderes, que el actor que hace al villano es real y básicamente piensa que la serie es el mundo real. Bolt se pierde en Nueva York y se da cuenta que sus supuestos poderes son inútiles, conoce a una gata callejera llamada Mittens la cual piensa que Bolt está loco y Bolt piensa que es la gata del villano de su serie. Ahí comienzan sus aventuras para que ambos obtengan lo que quieren. Van conociendo a otros animales como un trío de palomas y al hamster Rhino el cual es súper fan de Bolt. Nuestro protagonista va teniendo un desarrollo de autodescubrimiento, al igual que Mittens, la cual tiene un odio ante los humanos lo cual contradice la creencia de Bolt, que considera que los humanos son buenos. Es una película que siento que es infravalorada cuando es excelente, la recomiendo bastante si no la llegaron a ver.
I loved this movie and saw it in the theater when I was younger. The premise is about a dog who is a TV star who works with his owner Penny, whom he loves very much. The series he works on is called Bolt and is about the dog who has superpowers and must save Penny from the main villain. The thing is that Bolt believes that everything that happens in the series is true, he thinks he has superpowers, that the actor who plays the villain is real and basically thinks that the series is the real world. Bolt gets lost in New York and realizes that his supposed powers are useless, he meets a stray cat named Mittens who thinks Bolt is crazy and Bolt thinks she is the cat of the villain of his series. There they begin their adventures to get what they both want. They meet other animals like a trio of pigeons and the hamster Rhino who is Bolt's super fan. Our protagonist is having a development of self-discovery, as is Mittens, who has a hatred of humans which contradicts Bolt's belief that humans are good. It is a film that I feel is underrated when it is excellent, I highly recommend it if you haven't seen it.
La razón de estar contigo | A Dog's Purpose
Esta película es una mezcla entre comedia, drama y fantasía que cuenta la historia de un perrito que fue sacrificado pero antes de ello se cuestionaba su razón para vivir, por lo que su alma fue recorriendo varias historias. Su primer renacimiento es en un Golden Retriever llamado Bailey, el cual se encariña de un niño llamado Ethan el cual se convierte en su propósito. Bailey ve como Ethan va creciendo, conoce todo el desarrollo de la familia el cual se vuelve turbulento y ve como todos van teniendo sus problemas y éxitos. Bailey se va volviendo viejo hasta que no puede más y lo duermen. Esto crea un ciclo de vidas caninas, con diferentes historias pero con la misma alma de Bailey, el cual nace en distintos perros con distintos dueños, y el propósito de Bailey es conseguir a Ethan en alguna de sus vidas. Vemos diferentes perspectivas de los perros, como el amos (o el descuido) pueden venir de diferentes ámbitos y personas, conmoviéndonos con cada vida que tiene Bailey. Es una película hermosa que si amas a los animales y más aún a los perros, deberías ver.
This film is a mix of comedy, drama and fantasy that tells the story of a little dog who was euthanized but before that he questioned his reason for living, so his soul went through several stories. His first rebirth is in a Golden Retriever named Bailey, who becomes attached to a boy named Ethan who becomes his purpose. Bailey watches as Ethan grows up, learns all about the family's development which becomes turbulent and sees how everyone has their problems and successes. Bailey grows old until he can't take it anymore and is put to sleep. This creates a cycle of canine lives, with different stories but with the same soul of Bailey, who is born into different dogs with different owners, and Bailey's purpose is to get Ethan in one of their lives. We see different perspectives of dogs, how masters (or neglect) can come from different walks of life and people, touching us with each life Bailey has. It's a beautiful film that if you love animals and even more so dogs, you should see.
Los Aristogatos | The Aristocats
Un clásico de Disney estrenada en el año 1970. La historia se encuentra en París, Francia para el año 1910. La trama gira entorno a una gata Duquesa y sus tres hijos gatitos llamados Berlioz (como el compositor jeje), Marie y Toulouse. Su dueña es una cantante ópera llamada Adelaide Bonfamille que pertenece a la aristocracia y por su avanzada edad decide redactar un testamento para definir a quién le dejará su fortuna. El mayordomo Edgar escucha que le dejará la fortuna a los gatitos y que él debe cuidarlos hasta que muera. Edgar molesto por ello decide deshacerse de los gatos, así que los duerme con una leche que hizo y así los lleva a un lugar lejano para que no vuelvan a su hogar. A partir de ahí, los gatos comienzan su aventura en la que conocen a Thomas O'Malley, un gato que vive en las calles de Francia y acompaña a los gatos. Esta película es increíble, tiene canciones súper buenas y la historia es muy interesante. Me encanta como cada animal que se ve en la película tiene su personalidad bastante marcada y además, me encanta la canción "todos quieren ser un gato jazz", de verdad es una película que no se desgasta con el tiempo.
A Disney classic released in 1970. The story is set in Paris, France for the year 1910. The plot revolves around a cat Duchess and her three kitten children named Berlioz (like the composer hehe), Marie and Toulouse. Her owner is an opera singer named Adelaide Bonfamille who belongs to the aristocracy and because of her advanced age decides to write a will to define to whom she will leave her fortune. The butler Edgar hears that she will leave the fortune to the kittens and that he should take care of them until she dies. Edgar, annoyed by this, decides to get rid of the cats, so he puts them to sleep with a milk he made and thus takes them to a faraway place so that they will not return to his home. From there, the cats begin their adventure in which they meet Thomas O'Malley, a cat who lives on the streets of France and accompanies the cats. This movie is amazing, it has super good songs and the story is very interesting. I love how each animal seen in the movie has its personality quite marked and also, I love the song "everyone wants to be a jazz cat", it really is a movie that does not wear out over time.
Marley y yo | Marley & Me
Esta película me hizo llorar como casi cualquier película con algún animalito, pero también me hizo reír en otros momentos. La historia comienza con el matrimonio reciente de John y Jenny Grogan, los cuales comienzan su aventura en la vida de casado. Consiguen trabajos en periódicos diferentes y tienen pensado formar una familia, pero ya que no se sienten seguros de ello todavía deciden tener un perrito al que llaman Marley, el cual es un perro bastante hiperactivo y un poco destructivo, lo cual la pareja debe ir entrenando. El perrito vive todo lo que ocurre en la familia, como el nacimiento de sus hijos, problemas, y lo que es la vida en general ya que los Grogan experimentan vivencias junto a su amado Marley, el cual aman incondicionalmente. Es un resumen corto ya que contar más sería darles un gran spoiler, sin embargo la trama está muy bien desarrollada y aunque nos cuenta un cliché de películas de mascotitas, nos llega al corazón al ser realista con el amor que se siente hacia una mascota el cual es inmenso. Es una película que mezcla muy bien el drama y la comedia, la recomiendo muchísimo.
This movie made me cry like almost any movie with a little animal in it, but it also made me laugh at other times. The story begins with the recent marriage of John and Jenny Grogan, who begin their adventure into married life. They get jobs at different newspapers and plan to start a family, but since they don't feel confident about it yet they decide to get a puppy they name Marley, who is a rather hyperactive and somewhat destructive dog, which the couple has to train. The puppy lives everything that happens in the family, such as the birth of their children, problems, and what is life in general as the Grogans experience experiences with their beloved Marley, which they love unconditionally. This is a short summary as to tell more would be a spoiler, however the plot is very well developed and although it tells a cliché of pet movies, it touches our hearts by being realistic with the love felt towards a pet which is immense. It is a movie that mixes drama and comedy very well, I highly recommend it.
Siempre a tu lado | Hachi: A Dog's Tale
Esta película me hizo llorar demasiado como no tienen idea, y no me veo capaz de verla dos veces por lo mismo. Esta película esta basada en hechos reales en la historia del perro japonés llamado Hachiko. La historia comienza con un chico narrando la historia de su abuelito llamado Parker Wilson, el cual encuentra a un perrito perdido en la estación de tren. Parker quiere quedarse con el perrito hasta encontrar al dueño y después de convencer al controlador de la estación, se lo lleva a su casa. Su esposa al principio se niega a quedarse con el perro, pero luego cede. Parker se lo lleva a sus clases y descubre que su collar traducido del japonés dice "Hachi", por lo que decide llamarlo así. Descubrimos que la esposa descubre un posible dueño para Hachi, pero Parker ya había generado un vínculo fuerte con el perrito, por lo que su esposa decide que es mejor quedarse con el perrito. A partir de aquí vemos una historia bellísima, demostrando que el amor puede durar toda una vida y más allá. La historia tiene un desarrollo muy bueno que nos deja con la intriga de qué pasará al final y el saber que es una historia que sucedió en la vida real, hace que esto llegué más profundo a nuestro corazón. Es increíble ver el vínculo que genera una mascota con su dueño y como esto puede ser palpable. Es una película increíble que seguro les sacará varias lágrimas, incluso al que dice que no llora con nada. Recuerdo que al terminar de verla me fui a abrazar a mi perrita y decirle que la amo mucho. Una película sumamente recomendada.
This movie made me cry like you have no idea, and I can't see myself watching it twice for the same reason. This movie is based on true events in the story of the Japanese dog named Hachiko. The story begins with a boy narrating the story of his grandfather named Parker Wilson, who finds a lost puppy at the train station. Parker wants to keep the puppy until he finds its owner and after convincing the station controller, he takes it home. His wife at first refuses to keep the dog, but then relents. Parker takes him to his classes and discovers that his collar translated from Japanese says "Hachi," so he decides to name him that. We find out that the wife discovers a possible owner for Hachi, but Parker had already generated a strong bond with the puppy, so his wife decides it's best to keep the puppy. From here we see a beautiful story, showing that love can last a lifetime and beyond. The story has a very good development that leaves us with the intrigue of what will happen at the end and knowing that it is a story that happened in real life, makes this reach deeper into our hearts. It is incredible to see the bond that a pet generates with its owner and how this can be palpable. It is an incredible movie that will surely bring tears to your eyes, even for those who say they don't cry at all. I remember that when I finished watching it I went to hug my dog and tell her that I love her very much. A highly recommended movie.

I loved bolt and marley and I, they are movies that teach you values and above all leave a nice message.
Isle of Dogs de Wes Anderson es una de las mejores películas que he visto sobre mascotas, me gustó mucho como un niño sin ningún miedo está determinado a salvar a su amigo y en ese camino gana a otro, esa relación entre Atari y Chief es algo que me hizo recordar todas las veces que tuve una mascota a mi lado y a todo esto creo que este film debe tener la mejor canción hecha sobre una persona y su mascota "I Won't Hurt You".
Sino ha visto esta película se la recomiendo porque es muy buena.

Los entiendo, yo la vi en el cine con mis amigos también y terminamos llorando todos jajaja. Luego la vi con mis padres en la tele (creo que en Fox Premium) y lloré más que la primera vez porque estaba con mi perrita al lado 😂😂😂
