I've been seriously excited about when this will become available to me. I see tons of good reviews of it all over the internet and am hopeful that someone made something good instead of the usual Hollywood garbage that we have been subjected to in the past few years.

Before I went to see it, I had already read some reviews and they were all praising the quality of the movie. In fact, it is a really good movie (especially in the technical part, because the aesthetics of the project are excellent... plus, the soundtrack is dope), but I feel Eggers needs to go beyond "fancy productions" status and work better on the depth of the stories he directs.
Anyway, the movie is a "visionary" reinterpretation of a great horror classic. Must watch it!
