well to each their own and I am not trying to convince you that you are wrong for feeling the way you do. For me I find a lot of the writing to be extremely cringe especially the way in which the little kid figures out a lot of things for them with his endless positivity.

I just think the dialogue is just awful as are the various twists such as Boyd forcing the girl to hike out into the woods and then he gets a bit tired and the roles get reversed as she now has to motivate him to keep going... Then they find a lighthouse and jump into a tree hole... haha

mostly the reason why I don't think this series is great is because nothing really happens in each episode as they are deliberately trying to drag this out as long as possible. So much time is spent on squabbling with one another with truly cringe dialogue and the introduction of various love trysts is rather convenient to have even more stuff to waste time on to fill 45 minutes per episode... but hey, that is just my opinion.
