I wanted to watch that series, but I had a feeling that it would probably have one or two good episodes and then completely fall apart. From what I've read in your review before the spoilers, it only lasts one episode. I'd better watch the HBO series "Task" that I missed when it premiered over a month ago.

Perhaps I will go and check out Task as well because between waiting for weekly releases of Pluribus and the Chair Company, i'm at a loss of what to watch these days. Someone mentioned something about a show called Last Samurai or something like that... any idea what I might be referring to? It's not Shogun, something else
I've only seen about 10 minutes or so of the first episode of The Last Samurai. I've read several positive reviews and some not-so-positive ones, and I think the negative ones are due to the series not living up to expectations in the following episodes, similar to the series you reviewed in your post. I'll probably watch it soon to form my own opinion.
I have gone through 1.5 episodes and honestly, the story is a bit weak but the action is top tier. I will stick with it for now but as I think most people think, a show needs to be more than just great action. There needs to be a compelling reason for said action to exist in the first place. Otherwise it is just WWE
Nevermind. It's Last Samurai Standing and I have it in the pipe now.
