Hello! As part of our ongoing efforts to improve both interaction and curation in the Movies and TV Shows Community, this post is one of many to highlight and boost members of the past week that have posted what we believe is exceptional content.

The Details

Each week, our Moderators will monitor the posts within the Movies and TV Shows Community and handpick the ones that are believed to stand out under numerous factors: post quality, length, and subject.

There are no entry requirements, and this is not a contest, but simply a roundup intended to provide additional exposure to all of you for your efforts. Just have fun posting in the Movies & TV Shows Community and five or more posts will be chosen frequently.

The Gremlins: a Christmas classic to kickstart the holidays.

However, I must also admit that, despite its value in terms of special effects, there were a couple of moments where the film became slightly tedious, especially since the more "fun" moments take a while to arrive. At the same time, it's important to recognize that part of this could be due to the passing of time, and the fact that even without having seen it before today, its plot is already burned into my subconscious.

🎬 Serie Review: Daryl Dixon season 2

I'm really liking the series in general, it's one of my favorite spin offs of the saga. I find France's plot very interesting, although it is quite convoluted and sloppy at times, but it certainly gave us great moments of Daryl's character, and now Carol's as well. In addition to tense moments, zombie variants and action scenes.

Caddo Lake | A disturbing story - Movie Review!

The plot is made so that your attention is 200% focused on what is happening. It is not difficult to understand, once you understand what really happens, but the process of discovering things and gradually opening your eyes is incredible because it is simply crazy. I would not classify it as horror but as a great suspense, throughout the film we are sold the idea that there is something strange in the lake and play a lot with that, that uncertainty and mystery exploited to the fullest resulting in something very cool to see. There is also a drama that goes hand in hand with the disappearances, obviously this causes those affected to collapse and we see many fights, friction and sentimentality.

Noche de Horror: Una navidad desastrosa 🍿

The story of the gnomes lacks sense and presents many incongruities. Perhaps, if there had been more entertaining moments, they could be overlooked, but this is not the case. They are not supposed to stand loud noises and other things, and yet they throw a house party 😒. Also, the final scene is fairytale-like, where they make peace and leave one of the elves living somewhere else, inexplicable and unnecessary.

John woo "The killer"

John Woo became known as a master of stylised action thanks in part to The Killer. The picture has a poetic flavour thanks to Woo's use of slow motion, staged gunfights, and symbolic imagery, especially his recurrent motif of doves representing calm in the midst of mayhem. These components form the basis of the "heroic bloodshed" genre, which consists of heroes who are held to a code of honour and frequently struggle for atonement in a violent and treacherous environment.

My opinion of I Am Still (Documentary by Jungkook)

In the documentary, we find iconic scenes that, as fans, we had seen before, such as their performance in Times Square, New York. But we also get to see the behind the scenes of the production process of her album Golden. I didn't know she had gotten sick during production or how they chose or produced the songs. That made me feel closer to him and his album.

My Brilliant Friend: a lovely Italian friendship (my TV show review)

In each of the four seasons, they show us a different period of life. In the first season, they are little girls, overwhelmed by the neighbors in the neighborhood and their dark stories, by parents hardened by a difficult life with few resources and thinking about surviving.

Impressions of Apocalipsis Z: El principio del fin

From this point on, the governmental entities begin a massive movement to “protect” the population in a forced way, Manel does not want to leave, so he hides with his little Cat, until he manages to mislead the military and manages to stay successfully. I do not want to make too many revelations of the film, but it is after all this that begins a series of events that put at risk the lives of the protagonists for the search of being able to get out alive from this infected place.

Ugly Until Technology Makes You Pretty

Above everything else, I liked the fact that they were able to distinguish between the relevance of humans just being humans and how humans could change when they get their hands on technology. I believe the message from this movie is that no matter the technological evolution, nothing will ever beat humanity and its power.

Review - Mean Girl 2024

There were also many interesting winks in the same as for example is the same actress and the same actor who play the director of the first film as well as the actress who plays the math teacher who is also the screenwriter of the first film, plus we can also see a slightly more mature version of Lindsay Lohan, playing the same character which was a very nice and very interesting wink because it is also to see the maturity of the protagonist. In general I can say that if you liked the first movie you will love this one because the musical moments really add something interesting to the movie, if on the other hand you are not a person who likes musicals you may not like it because obviously it is something that is very palpable in the film, but on the other hand it is still the same story only with this musical plus.
