In more recent years, no matter how inclusive action movies are in relation to female protagonism in major productions, it is clear that there is still a long way to go. Both in quantity and quality, movies of this genre starring women are still relatively underestimated. Despite the effort to change this scenario, it seems to me that some of the scripts are purposefully too laughable to be taken seriously. An example of this is what can be seen here, within a very interesting but superficial plot.

We also see how political and religious powers can do so much harm to the innocent, where injustice and influence peddling always prevail, which today, the analogy remains very valid. The human society of before compared to that of now perhaps has not changed much and today man is increasingly and feels dehumanized... Hostility, wars, diseases and intolerance make entire peoples want to shoot bullets before words, after so many years.

On the other hand, there was the costumes, a sublime period adaptation. I have already commented in other reviews how much I love period films, this play is designed for me. The dresses and costumes were impeccable, each one highlighted according to the characteristics of the character.

Like they were all so detailed and different, from Sweet down to Mole. Everybody had their moments and with all that was going on, we got to know a little bit about them. Of course the main focus was on the protagonist, Milo, but all character's were in view and all were loved.

I go to the other side. Thinking individually, and thinking it is the right thing to do, it has happened to more than one of us; making decisions, even if it hurts but knowing “it will be beneficial to my family”, is not unreasonable and any of us would do it for our family. So I don't see Kate as treacherous (and we know she is the protagonist), but as an altruistic person by sacrificing her interests for the good of the family. A very interesting story.

If you're looking for a movie to pass the time, this one will do the trick. It is not the most impressive of them all, but it fulfills the role of entertaining and even more so considering that we are talking about real events. The performances are very well represented and the suspense becomes quite disturbing from the point of view that we realize that there are killers out there who do their thing frequently and evade the authorities with some ease, in the world there are many twisted people and there is no ability to control them all.
