All the psychological horror inserted within the main narrative of Barbarian deserved a really more interesting highlight (because there was energy and material for it), but the script stuck to the most obvious choices, surrendering to the already known clichés of this genre without bringing anything properly new, or even more reflective in relation to its most important guiding thread. However, it is still a “watchable” horror because it is not so conventional.

These dynamics, and the risk they run when being in cars that go at such high speeds, are well addressed in the film, developing a good drama behind all this, so we see the growth of the protagonist in the competition, until it ends. being the champion, thus getting his opportunity to reach professionalism. Although initially it is not recognized by its peers, little by little it is growing and honing its senses, managing to classify the most important races in the category.

Godzilla Minus One is an ode to visual excellence, it is not easy to make scenes of massive destruction in cities or in general that really have a realistic and high level impact. This film also rekindles the hope that visual effects technologies can be implemented in an efficient way, without cheap commercialism that only generates disposable films with pitiful special effects that make you want to get out of your seat. This is how I consider that the giant monster genre has a chance to give us memorable movies, I in particular am willing to give it a chance.

I loved that they implemented more classical music of very current songs, something they had already done in the previous season, but certainly in this one they accentuated and included even more songs by Billie Eilish, Miley Cyrus, Justin Bieber, among others. These adaptations were perfect, using classic instruments that gave them a magnificent touch.

The most intriguing part of this film was the handling of emotions of the journalists, they only wanted to fulfill their purpose, to get the best sensationalist photos, no matter how, and throughout this journey, they will encounter different extreme situations, but they will manage to remain calm and focus only on their goal.

I watched this film with low expectations, especially given the mixed reviews circulating. Rotten Tomatoes gave it a 38%, while IMDb rated it 6.2. However, I found myself often impressed throughout the movie. There are some unanswered questions and a few plot holes, such as the absence of the Justice League when Adam wreaks havoc and some inconsistencies with Amanda Waller's actions. But these didn't detract from my enjoyment of the film.

Something curious had also happened to me regarding this trilogy, since the first installment I swore and perjured that it had come out around 2010, and no, I had a little time lag since it was released in 2000 and it is "Unbreakable". This first installment was directed by M. Night Shyamalan (well, all of them actually), and to give you a quick recap, it follows the story of David Dunn (played by Bruce Willis), a man who miraculously survives a train accident without serious injury (the guy has never had a cold in his life!). In addition to meeting a mysterious man named Elijah Price (played by Samuel L. Jackson), who is the opposite of him, as he suffers from osteogenia imperfecta (glass bones); and suggests that David could be a superhero; the poor guy spent his entire childhood influenced by comic books. The film establishes from a somewhat realistic point of view between Elijah's obsession with superheroes and David's "abilities".

The movie has been out for a while, it was released in 2018, that's why the evolution in technology is not so noticeable, but I believe it will keep you glued to the screen, especially because of the emotions that this movie transmits, seeing how this machine learns from humans and the loyalty that dogs have towards their owners or protectors is really evident. That's why I consider it an excellent movie to watch in a family environment, as it contains fiction, action, emotion, and many feelings that can be shared during the course of this great movie, one that I think you should watch right away.

The existence of plots apart from the main one is something that normally happens in any television production, this to give rest to the development of the protagonist and thus lengthen a story which is planned to be told in several seasons, but when that happens in a miniseries, I think that in the same way it should form a strong link with the base story so as not to consider that you are seeing two different stories; just that happens in "Eric" where the existence of two cases makes it seem that you are watching two series in one and that didn't seem right to me because I think that one story is minimized in favor of the other, being the one that loses importance the story of a father with a destructive life who doesn't know what to do or how to deal with the loss of his son; The strange thing is that the other story that is developed in this miniseries, is what I liked the most, where the story of corruption, prostitution, abuse of power and homosexuality in New York in the 80's is what has a better development than the main story that in my opinion was worn out very quickly.

Abigail is one of those horror and black humor films that end up convincing you, even when it doesn't seem like a transcendent feature film. The story seeks to turn the tables between the hunter and the prey, involving a few vampires, bloody explosions and well-kept secrets behind several fangs.

This film leaves a thick lump in your throat, when you see beyond what is said and shown, when you learn to read between the lines and it teaches you that everything starts from the root and that as adults sometimes we tend to be very, very selfish, because we forget that once we were also children, we also had dreams, needs, we saw more solutions than problems, but as we grow up we change and forget that what we do and how we act can also affect our children and therefore their future.

To begin with, I didn't like the performance of the group of friends, I felt that they were very disconnected from the reality they were living. As if there was no misfortune happening to them, in the sense that they seemed quite well and making jokes despite the fact that their friends were dying. They were also very determined to break the curse, I didn't notice much fear on their part, but they were making stupid and senseless mistakes, like staying alone.
Congratulations to everyone that was chosen, and thank you to everyone posting in Movies and TV Shows! We look forward to the next report and highlighting even more of you.
