Series story:
The series won the admiration of the audience and critics because it is based on an interesting and attractive story. The events of the series revolve around the character of Dexter Morgan, who works in the Miami police station as a laboratory technician by day and in secret is a professional killer, where he kills criminals fleeing from justice. We also learn about the details of this eccentric serial killer's life and discover the reason for his desire to kill and how to control this desire and adapt it to his personal life and his relationships with others that get more complicated when Dexter mixes with them, we also see how Dexter deals with other killers who share the same Desire with different reasons and motives.
The series relies on mystery, unraveling mysteries, excitement and suspense in revealing the truth, as Dexter Morgan tries to prove the guilt of his victim, and when this is proven, he kills him and hides all things about his crime so that no one can catch him.
The series was shown for the first time in 2006, the series is adapted from the series of Dexter novels written by Jeff Lindsey, the series has achieved great success because of its interesting and exciting events, and the series includes many big stars. The series was nominated for 25 awards, but won only 4, and was nominated for the award for best drama series 4 times during the years 2008-2011, and was nominated for 10 Golden Globe Awards and won two of them, and the Screen Actors Guild Award.
My opinion about the series:
Although I am against violence and murder, the creativity in presenting the characters and the story made me understand the case of Dexter Morgan.
The direction, the method of filming, and the interrelationship between the events and the characters made me focused with all the details and dialogues in the series. A wonderful, integrated work, I advise lovers of mystery and excitement to watch it.
