Llegue a ver esta cinta por la premisa que traía, pues todos aquellos que estamos cerca de los 30, vivimos con un conflicto existencial de hayar a la persona indicada, pues ya ha esta edad, lo mínimo que buscamos es algo estable, con alguien que tenga un temperamento y personalidad que se pueda amoldar con la nuestra, la soledad y la sensación de estancamiento nos respira en la nuca, pues aceptemoslo, nadie quiere ser el amigo soltero y solo del círculo, jajaja.

Esta película pasa de todo esto, y nos muestra la historia de una chica con muchos problemas personales, que decide dejar su vida atrás y terminar con su pareja estable de años por una infidelidad. Todo esto sucedió después de tomar pésimas decisiones, donde no sólo abuso de bebidas alcohólicas, sino también de otras sustancias alucinógenas, haciéndola tocar fondo y decidir todo lo anterior.

No todo es malo, también hay varias cosas que están bien en la cinta, la primera serían las actuaciones de los protagonistas, Shaliene Woodley intenta cargar con todo el peso en sus hombros, pero luego recordé que es no es su primer papel donde tiene un embarazo no deseado, y no se, no pude terminar de verla igual por lo encasillado de la actriz en este tipo de personajes. Las escenas fuertes, crudas y con carácter también se destacan, sobre todo tengo que resaltar las escenas de sexo, pues realmente son muy creíbles, así como las escenas de abuso de sustancias.
Not everything is bad, there are also several things that are good in the film, the first would be the performances of the protagonists, Shaliene Woodley tries to carry all the weight on her shoulders, but then I remembered that this is not her first role where she has a unwanted pregnancy, and I don't know, I couldn't finish watching it anyway because of how pigeonholed the actress is in this type of characters. The strong, raw and characterful scenes also stand out, especially I have to highlight the sex scenes, as they really are very believable, as well as the substance abuse scenes.
La parte estética y los planos me parece adecuados para la historia que se quiere comentar, pues pareciera que fue filmado con cámara en mano, con algunos tonos más oscuros, sobre todo en los momentos en los que ella se siente más perdida, llevando esta dinámica hasta el final, como si el mismo director nos quisiera hacer entender de que nada realmente ha mejorado, y si esta fuera la intención, de verdad que subiría más puntos en mi apreciación.
The aesthetic part and the shots seem appropriate to the story that we want to comment on, since it seems that it was filmed with a handheld camera, with some darker tones, especially in the moments in which she feels most lost, carrying this dynamic until the end, as if the director himself wanted to make us understand that nothing has really improved, and if this were the intention, it would really raise more points in my rating.
En conclusión, la verdad me pareció una película que no tenía que ver con su premisa, la forma en la que llevaron la historia tampoco me pareció la gran cosa, y el argumento final pienso que fue aún peor, pues la protagonista tuvo que literalmente quedarse sola y embarazada para encontrarse a ella misma y saber lo que quería, y más allá de la edad que tenía y los errores que pudo cometer, el mensaje final fue lo peor de todo.
In conclusion, the truth is that it seemed like a film to me that had nothing to do with its premise, the way in which they told the story didn't seem like a big deal to me either, and I think the final argument was even worse, since the protagonist literally had to stay alone and pregnant to find herself and know what she wanted, and beyond the age she was and the mistakes she could have made, the final message was the worst of all.
