Tal vez no muchos sepan que me gusta mucho el anime, así que hoy me gustaría hablarles sobre mi favorito; Steins Gate, el cual tiene una de las mejores tramas sobre viajes del tiempo que han existido, fuera y dentro del anime.

Maybe most of you do not know that I really like anime so today I would like to tell you about my favorite one; Steins Gate, which has one of the best plots about time travel that ever existed, in and out of anime.

Comencemos con lo básico, cuenta con una buena animación, una buena banda sonora, los openings y los endings tienen una letra perfectamente escogida, a diferencia de muchos animes, excelente desarrollo de personajes, connotaciones profundas que te hacen querer sentarte a meditar, y a pesar de que la trama no gira para nada en torno a esto, tiene una pizca de romance que fue manejado impecablemente.

Let's start with the basics, this has a good art style and animation, a good soundtrack, the openings and endings have perfectly chosen lyrics, unlike many animes, excellent characters development, very deep connotations that will make you want to sit and meditate, and even though the plot does not revolve around this, it has a touch of romance which was faultlessly handled.

La historia habla sobre la vida de Okabe Rintarou, un personaje que al principio te puede caer un poco mal debido a su personalidad chocante, el cual después de muchos intentos, logra viajar en el tiempo con sus amigos, y comienzan a lidiar con los problemas que esto conlleva. Además cuenta con uno de los mejores personajes femeninos de todo el anime, Makise Kurisu, ya que es muy inteligente y agradable.

The story is about Okabe Rintarou's life, a character you might not like at first due to his irritating personality, who after many attempts manages to travel in time with his friends, and all of them start dealing with the problems this brings. This also has one of the best female characters in the whole anime, Makise Kurisu, who is very smart and nice.

Desde mi perspectiva no es como la mayoría de historias de viajes en el tiempo, Steins Gate introduce a sus espectadores a nuevas ideas, ya que no es la típica trama de ciencia ficción, sino que hace énfasis en las consecuencias de tratar de jugar con esto. Lo dejan muy claro con la paradoja del tiempo y el efecto mariposa. Con todo esto logran hacer la trama complicada y entretenida, y esto la hace inolvidable.

From my perspective this is not like most travel time stories, Steins Gate introduces its viewers to new ideas, since this is not the typical sci-fi plot but this emphasizes the consequences of trying to play with it. They make this very clear with the paradox of time and the butterfly effect. They manage to make a complicated and entertaining plot with all of this, which makes it unforgettable.

Personalmente me gusta cuando representan la realidad mediante la existencia de varias líneas de tiempo paralelas que a pesar de que van en la misma dirección estas cambian según las decisiones que tomemos, y esta es la manera en que la serie nos muestra cómo funcionan los viajes en el tiempo, lo que a mí me parece un poco más realista.

I personally like when reality is represented through the existence of many parallel timelines that even these go in the same direction, these change according to the decisions we make, and this is the way this serie shows us how time travel works, which in my opinion, is more realistic.

Tengo que ser sincera, el anime comienza muy lento, los primeros 7 capítulos no me atraparon, pero luego entendí que es necesario que lo hagan de esta manera, ya que al entender con calma todos esos detalles cuando comienza la acción drástica, te atrapa mucho más, porque te permite entender todo con más claridad al ir uniendo los diferentes puntos a medida de que avanza la trama que se hace cada vez más intrigante. Luego todo pasa tan rápido que a veces tienes que pausar los capítulos para que te dé chance de analizar qué y por qué está pasando.

I need to be honest, this anime starts very slow, the first 7 episodes did not attracted me, but then I understood that it is necessary to do it in this way, because when you understand calmly all those details when the sudden action begins, it attracts you even more since it allows you to understand clearly when you are connecting the different dots as the plot progresses because it gets more and more intriguing. Then everything goes so fast that sometimes you need to pause the episodes to have more time to analyze what and why something is happening.

Otra cosa que amo son los personajes principales, a medida de que va avanzando la trama y los problemas van surgiendo, más conexión vas sintiendo con ellos gracias a su gran desarrollo individual y en conjunto, y es una sensación increíble; el anime logra un vínculo personaje/espectador único. También pienso que los personajes principales se complementan de una manera increíble, siendo esto muy contrastante con respecto a los personajes secundarios, los que sinceramente no son muy buenos personajes en sí a pesar de que cada uno de ellos sí aporta mucho a la trama.

Another thing I love is the main characters, as the plot progresses and problems arise, the more connection you feel with them thanks to their great individual and joint development, and this is an incredible feeling; the anime creates a unique character/viewer bond. I also think that main characters complement each other in an incredible way, being this very contrasting regarding secondary characters, who are honestly not very good characters individually even though they do contribute a lot to the plot.

Es un anime que recomiendo ver sin ninguna duda, el apego que logró que sintiera con los personajes me hizo querer pasar mucho más tiempo con ellos, así que afortunadamente el anime cuenta con un OVA, un capítulo 23 alternativo, una segunda temporada que es una especie de precuela, y una película, todos estos tan buenos que solo me hizo consolidar más mi amor por la serie.

This is an anime I recommend without any doubt, the affection this managed I feel with the characters made me want to spend more time with them so fortunately the anime has an OVA, an alternative 23rd episode, a second season which is a kind of prequel, and a movie, all of these so good that these only made me consolidate my love for this series.
